Turn overgrown former pasture around Sunbury into a homesite, a lane you can drive, or a clean shared fence line. The brush is mulched in place, the topsoil stays, and there are no stump or burn piles.
Thanks. We'll call to set up a time to walk the property.
We'll see you at the property. A confirmation is on its way to your email.

Ground you can build on, drive through, or put back in grass. A homesite on a parcel that used to be pasture, without its border of autumn olive and pear. A lane from the road back to a barn, a pole building, or a back field. A shared fence row between a new house and the farm next door, opened up so both owners can use it. The brush becomes a coarse mulch layer instead of a pushed pile of stumps and topsoil.
Most residential jobs take one to three days. You get the plan and the price first.
We use a tracked skid steer with a mulching head. It handles brush and trees up to about 6 inches across, and up to about 8 inches with more time. We clear to the building area, the lane, and the edges you mark. We don't pour foundations, grade subdivisions, or excavate. If the plan needs soil work, we'll tell you what a grading contractor has to do after us.
Lot clearing and site preparation cover homesites. Fence line clearing covers the shared fence row. Right-of-way clearing covers the lane. If the back of the parcel is woods you want to keep and walk, that's closer to forestry mulching in Centerburg or Westerville.
Fence rows with old wire still in them take longer. We look for the wire before we promise a pace.
Expect a few stumps to try to resprout. That's normal, and you won't be on your own with it. We cover the plan before the job and again after: mow it with your own equipment or spot-spray the right herbicide, and let grass fill in and crowd the invasives out for good.
Creek bottoms and new lanes cut through sod can stay soft even when the rest of the property is dry. We'd rather move the day than leave ruts as the first thing anyone sees at a new homesite. We also hold off in very dry spells, when the mulching head is a fire risk.
Sunbury sits where US-36, SR-3, and SR-37 cross, west of Centerburg and east of Delaware, with Big Walnut Creek along the edge of town. Farm parcels around it are being split into homesites, so the fence row that used to divide two hay fields is now the back line of someone's yard.
On the old fields, the woody weeds are mostly autumn olive and multiflora rose, plus Callery pear that has spread from nearby neighborhoods. Down along Big Walnut, it's mostly honeysuckle. One property can have both, and we cover both on one walk.
