Clear the honeysuckle out of your Westerville ravine or back woods and keep the trees. You get a yard you can use and a slope that stays put, with no burn pile and no brush hauled down the street.
Thanks. We'll call to set up a time to walk the property.
We'll see you at the property. A confirmation is on its way to your email.

A wooded lot you can walk and see into again, with the oaks and other big trees still standing. The understory is ground into mulch and left on the slope, which helps hold the soil. There's nothing to burn or haul through the neighborhood.
Most residential jobs take one to three days. You get the plan and the price before we start.
We take out the woody layer under and between the trees you're keeping. Around Westerville, that's mostly bush honeysuckle, plus wild grape pulling down small trees, multiflora rose on sunny banks, and Callery pear seeding in from neighborhood plantings. Ohio has banned selling or planting Callery pear since 2023 (ODNR), but the trees already planted keep spreading.
The machine is a tracked skid steer with a mulching head. It works slopes a dozer shouldn't, and it leaves the roots in the ground. We flag the keep-trees with you before we start.
Trail creation adds a path through the same woods. Storm damage cleanup is for limbs and trees dropped by wind or ice. Tree line pushback fits when the woods are moving into the lawn. If you want a vacant lot opened for a builder, see land clearing in Orange Township.
Some stumps will try to sprout back. That's normal, and we don't leave you to figure it out. Before the job and again after, we'll go over how to keep regrowth in check, by mowing it with your own equipment or spot-spraying the right herbicide, until grass fills in and crowds the invasives out for good.
We don't work a saturated ravine that would rut the only way in. We also hold off in very dry spells, when the hot mulching head is a fire risk. Burning isn't an option inside city limits. Ohio EPA rules ban most open burning within city and village limits (Ohio fire marshal).
Westerville is split between Franklin and Delaware counties. North of the line, many Westerville addresses are actually in Genoa Township, which sits between Hoover Reservoir and Alum Creek Reservoir (Genoa Township). The rules for trees, setbacks, and drainage can depend on which side of that line you're on, so we check your parcel on the estimate instead of going by the mailing address.
Hoover, Alum Creek, and the parks along them are public land. We work the private lots next to them and stop at the boundary. Ravine driveways, tight turns, and close neighbors are the real limits here, so we walk the access before we schedule anything.
