Get your woods back: honeysuckle gone, lanes open, the trees you want kept still standing, and no brush piles left to burn. We're based right here in Centerburg.
Thanks. We'll call to set up a time to walk the property.
We'll see you at the property. A confirmation is on its way to your email.

Woods you can walk again. A lane to the barn or the back field you can drive. A creek bank opened up without losing the trees that hold it. The brush is ground up and left on the ground as mulch, so there's no pile to burn and nothing to haul off. The trees you flag stay.
Most residential jobs take one to three days, depending on acreage and how thick the brush is. You'll know the plan and the price before we start.
We use a tracked skid steer with a mulching head. It grinds honeysuckle, rose, grapevine, saplings, and small trees where they stand, up to about 6 inches across, and up to about 8 inches with more time. Bigger trees get marked on the walk so we can plan around them.
Before the machine starts, we walk the property with you and flag the keep-trees. Flagging tape beats "keep the big ones."
If the job is a path through the woods, that's trail creation. If wind or ice dropped trees into the brush, that's storm damage cleanup. If the woods are creeping into a field, that's tree line pushback. If you want a building pad or a fence row turned back into open ground, that's land clearing in Centerburg.
Some stumps will try to resprout. That's normal, and you won't be on your own with it. Before the job and again after, we'll walk you through keeping regrowth in check, whether that's mowing it with your own equipment or spot-spraying the right herbicide, until grass fills in and crowds the invasives out for good.
We don't work ground that will rut. If the bottom is soft, we move the day. We also hold off in very dry spells, when a hot mulching head in dry brush is a fire risk.
Most Centerburg mulching is out on Hilliar Township acreage, not in town. The village itself is under a square mile, and most in-town yards are too tight for the machine. Out in the township it's woodlots, overgrown lanes, and fence lines off US-36 and SR-3.
The North Fork of the Licking River runs along the east side of the village, and the village's own plan notes the floodplain there. That bottom stays soft longer than the higher fields after rain. A woodlot on high ground and a thicket in the bottom can be on the same property and still need different days.
Shaded woodlots and creek edges here usually fill with bush honeysuckle. The sunnier fence lines and old pasture edges get multiflora rose and autumn olive. Callery pear seeds out from ornamental trees near houses and roads. Dead ash from the emerald ash borer is common in older woodlots too. We look for it on the walk because it's brittle and can drop limbs.
Because we're local, the estimate visit is easy to set up. It still happens. The price comes from walking your property.
